Discovering the seventies

Laurine: Have you seen Rosemary's baby?

Martin: No, I haven't seen it yet.

Some movies later....

Laurine: Do you like Taxi Driver?

Martin: I'm sorry but I haven't seen it yet. I know...I don't seem like a cinema student.

My landlady and friend Laurine is an expert in the music and movies made in the seventies. I don't have any clue so, since now, my aim is to discover that decade.

Today, I have seen New York, New York, directed by Scorsese in 1977. Last tuesday, I saw Manhattan (1979) again. Definitely, I would like to spend some time at the Big Apple.

The Doors

There are barn doors
And there are revolving doors
Doors in the rudders of big ships
And there are revolving doors
There are doors that open by themselves
There are sliding doors
And there are secret doors
There are doors that lock
And doors that don't
There are doors that let you in and out
But never open
And there are trapdoors
That you can't come back from
